Welcome to St Luke's Home, the charity founded in 1872 to provide services for the elderly of Cork City & County, and beyond. Our policy is to create a home-like environment where all residents feel safe, secure and supported.
Now a 120 bed purpose built, single storey, facility, we are situated in Mahon, Blackrock, on tranquil, landscaped gardens, overlooking the river Lee in Cork City. All our rooms are en-suite, and most are single occupancy.
With the support of the Health Services Executive - South, we provide long-term residential care in four integrated units, one of which specialises in the care of residents afflicted with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
In addition our Daycare centre operating Monday to Friday each week, caters for up to twenty visitors each day, and dedicates one day per week to those with Dementia. Visitors to the Daycare centre utilise many of the services of the Home, such as catering, physiotherapy, chapel, and daytime entertainment.
Enquiries can be made by telephone to 021-4359444, e-mail, or calling to reception. Visitors are most welcome to the Home at any time, to meet residents, or view our facilities. |
