St. Luke’s Home Education Centre - External Advisory Board
Terms of Reference & Membership
The mandate of the External Advisory Board is to act as an advisory body to the St. Luke’s Home Education Centre. It will not be expected to be a decision-making body nor will it be expected to operate by consensus. Its purpose will be to act as a sounding board for new courses and ideas and to provide comments or feedback on how the Education Centre may enhance education for those involved in Care of the Older Person in both the public and private sector.
Membership on the Board will be limited to about 12 people (not including ex officio members). The Directors of Nursing, Administration and Education at St. Luke's Home will be ex-officio. Membership on the Board reflects the diversity of those with an interest and a role to play in the Education in the area of the Older Person. Expertise and interest in the provision education for those who work with the elder person, across the multidisciplinary team, will be seen as the prime criteria for membership
