Funded by the HSE – South
Access to Daycare
St. Luke’s Home Day Care Centre is funded by HSE – South.
Access is through your Public Health Nurse (PHN). Your local Health Center or GP can help you contact your PHN, who will assess your needs and complete part of the Day Care application, the remaining section needs to be completed by your GP. Once submitted, your name goes on a waiting list, and you’ll get a place as soon as possible.
After Successful Application
Once allocated a place, our Day Care Nurse Manager will contact you to arrange a suitable day and transport. A small daily charge set by HSE applies to each visit.
St. Luke’s Day Care Centre serves Sector 6 of South Lee in Cork, including Mahon, Blackrock, Ballintemple, Douglas Road, Ballinlough, and up to Abbey Street. Dementia clients from anywhere in Cork city or suburbs may apply, with priority to locals.
