We are delighted to be taking part in Ireland’s first National Nursing Home Experience Survey. The survey is being run by the National Care Experience Programme, a partnership between the Health Information Quality Authority (HIQA), the Health Service Executive (HSE) and the Department of Health.
This new national survey aims to listen to the experiences of people living in nursing homes and find out what they like about the care and support they receive, and what improvements they would like to see.
Our residents will have the opportunity to share their experiences of nursing home care in a face-to-face interview. One family member or friend of each resident can also take part in the survey by filling out the questionnaire and submitting it by post, or by completing the online survey.
We would like to encourage everyone who is invited to take part to share your experiences and help us to provide the best possible care to our residents.
