We are now inviting Applications for Registered Nurses

We are now inviting applications for the following position:

Registered Nurses (RGN, RNID, RPN) (Temporary Fixed term-Flexible hours)

The successful applicant will be an experienced Registered General Nurse with at least one years acute experience.
Candidates must be registered on the General Division of Registrar of Nurses as maintained by the Nursing Board of Ireland or be entitled to register.
Department of Healthcare / HSE rates of pay including Geriatric allowance and premiums
Funded education provided in St Luke’s on-site Education centre, Northridge House and support offered for post graduate studies
Pension and sick leave payment scheme

Cork Nursing Home Resident Celebrated A Very Happy 100th Birthday Thanks To A Very Special Guest

Mary O’Sullivan’s family were not able to be with her when she reached the milestone at St Luke’s Home in Mahon yesterday due to visitor restrictions, but that didn’t stop staff from making it a birthday to remember.

Mary is from Carrigaline and was born into a farming family in 1920 and so was delighted when staff member Ursula Mc Grath from Mitchelstown brought in a hen for her to pet.

Mary was then given a letter and cheque from President Michael D. Higgins and celebrated her ‘hen party’ with staff and residents:
